The determination of one dad to provide an exceptional
soccer experience for a group of girls is where Panther
Soccer started. Now, some 8 years later, Panther
soccer is a soccer club that embodies the principals of
good sportsmanship and competitive play, not too mention
great team spirit and pride.
The Panthers wouldn't be what
they are (a great groupof young women all with terrific
attitudes) if it weren't for the parents that support
this club. From fundraising with the team to carpooling
to practices...we say Thank you!
-
Congratulations to our Panthers - U13 Division 1
Champions. Playing U14 Premier Fall 2009!

Panthers Win U 13 Division I Title.
IWhat a tremendous effort by our girls this spring to
take the Division 1 Title....moving on to U14 Premier!!!
Way to go girls, your dedication and efforts in the past
year paid off!
Despite a couple of injured players through the season,
the Panther girls pulled together to play hard and strong
through the season. We look forward to getting back
our injured Goalie for the Fall though!!
We Don't Coach From the Bleachers...or at least we try
not to!
A special thanks to all our parents who do so
well on the sideline. We are parents that can
guide our daughters in soccer skills, attitude,
sportsmanship and most of all... cheer them on so well
from the bleachers and the sidelines, whether we are
winning or loosing the match.
The Panther Girls' Determination
The Panthers compete in the Lincoln Spirit
(YMCA) U12 (moving to U13) Spring and Fall Season.
The Nebraska Soccer League Spring and Fall season as
well as a few selected tournaments. The Panthers
have competed in CSA, Dakota Gold, Lincoln Cup and the
Elkhorn Soccer Club tournaments in the last year.
Although we may not have finished in 1st place in all
these tournaments our team left with better soccer
skills and game play knowledge. The girls
also left these seasons with a determination to play
better, stronger and harder.....that is Panther Pride.
Its
All In The Pictures.
– The photos on this website show off some
of our girls individually as well as our team. We
may not have an individual action shot of each girl but
there isn't a player on this team that doesn't give it
her all on the field. The Panther photographers
(that's you parents) have provided us with some great
shots of the girls in action. We hope to add more
pictures to this page over time and to get a great shot
of each girls' "game face" in here somewhere! The
team is hugely entertaining to watch....but maybe that's
just a parent perspective....and maybe not!
It's
Not About The Trophy
– The 2007 Summer Elkhorn Tournament Team.
These girls are not strangers to competing hard and
taking home the prize. The trophies and medals are
great to have, but the skills and the memories are what
last a lot longer. Being a team player is not just
about knowing your soccer; its also about knowing your
teammates and treating them well. The Panthers
pride themselves in treating all members of the team
with respect and fairness.
